HAWT Cajun Spicy Chicken Wings

Cajun Spiced Wings

HAWT Cajun Spicy Chicken Wings for the Superbowl?! Yes please! I’m gonna keep this short and sweet and let the picture do the majority of the talking, but you HAVE to make these at your Superbowl Party this year.

SO these wings are fairly easy to make, all you really have to do is measure the spices, mix them, and slather the paste on the chicken. The oven will do all the cooking for you. Although, it would taste wayy better on a grill, but that is why I added the liquid smoke in the mix to fulfill that taste. Below I have some notes to enhance your experience.

  • Marinate – The recipe says you can marinate them for as little as 30 minutes. I suggest you marinate them overnight if you aren’t in a big hurry to make these. All of those flavors will just be jumping in your mouth.
  • Broil – After you bake them, don’t forget to broil them at 525 degrees or on HIGH for at least 4-5 minutes. A nice lil char on some wangs?! mannnnn
  • Extra Olive Oil – depending on how you measure out your seasonings, your paste may be a little too thick. Don’t be afraid to add in some extra oil or it will be hard fully coat your wings. I damn near added almost a cup when I first made this lol
  • Season Meat – So, lastnight when I made these, I was in a little of a hurry, so I forgot to season my chicken apart from the paste. I suggest just dashing a little bit of salt on the chicken before you add your paste. Just to add a little extra flavor to your chicken. Especially if you are making a lot of wings.

Just a a couple of notes I figured would help you. I failed a couple times to get this right, just so you could succeed the first time! Love ya!

Also, my Jerk Chicken Wings and Orange Bourbon Glazed Wings recipes are a must as well.

Y’all be safe this Superbowl weekend! <3
