Yummy crispy chicken wing recipe made ONLY in the oven. The Orange-Bourbon glaze is to live for!
Chicken Wings
Orange-Bourbon glaze
  1. Preheat your oven to 300 degrees F.
  2. Wash and pat your wings dry with paper towels. In a large mixing bowl add your wings, baking powder, salt, and pepper. Toss until it is fully coated
  3. Line a baking sheet with foil or parchment paper. Lay your wire rack on top and spray with non-stick cooking spray. This will prevent your wings from sticking to the rack
  4. Lay your chicken on the wire rack spread apart. Cook the chicken in the oven for 25 minutes.
  5. After the 25 minutes, brush the chicken with the melted butter, then put wings back in the oven and cook on 500 degrees for 20-25 minutes. (depending on your desired crispiness)
  6. While, the wings are cooking, let’s make the sauce. Combine all the ingredients for the glaze into a saucepan on medium high heat. Stir consistently while the sauce cooks so it doesn’t stick to the bottom. Once it starts bubbling, lower the heat and let the sauce thicken.
  7. Once your chicken is done, place the wings in a mixing bowl with the sauce and toss until fully coated.
  8. Return the wings to the oven on the broil setting and cook the wings for 5 minutes or until crispy and slightly charred on the top.
  9. Remove wings from oven, garnish with cilantro and sesame seeds and serve with ranch or bleu cheese.
Recipe Notes
